With live music, dynamic guest speakers, service organizations, children's activities, food and fun, the Interfaith Peace Festival brings together individuals from diverse faith traditions and cultural backgrounds to learn and celebrate the rich diversity Oregon has to offer.  As usual the event will be held on the beautiful 9 acres of property of Unity of Salem, at 1777 Fabry Road SE

*September 27-October 2, 2011: 6th International Youth Peace Festival, Chandigarh, India

The festival is being organized by Yuvsatta (www.yuvsatta.org) at Chandigarh, (http://chandigarh.nic.in/), “to mobilise youth to unite the world, geographical boundaries can remain but barriers disappear.” More than 2500 young people from 50 countries, almost all continents and different states of India are expected to participate.
